Frequently Asked Questions
What is a mini truck?
The Mini Truck is a small but powerful Japanese built truck, imported for off-road work and play. These trucks are extremely useful and versatile thanks to their impressive capabilities. They come standard with a 660cc 3 cylinder engine, six by four foot bed with drop sides, an 8 gallon fuel tank, four-wheel drive, and 880 pounds of hauling capacity. They are very fuel efficient, and most importantly, you get these impressive numbers with an enclosed cabin that is heated and lockable, with available A/C. These trucks provide great solutions for outdoorsmen, farmers, and pipeline workers, as site maintenance trucks or security vehicles.
Can mini trucks be licensed in West Virginia?
No. Although these trucks have all the safety requirements, and are legal for street use in Japan, they are imported into the U.S. as used farm equipment. The US DOT has yet to clear the mini truck for public roads.
